PMO clamps down on visitors
April 08, 2015  13:31
The visitors' register kept at the Prime Minister's Office's main reception had been sought for analysis by a senior PMO functionary, sending jitters among the political class but the maximum impact from this move was felt by corporate lobbyists.

A new pattern of strict vigil has since been introduced, and the question being asked is if it is aimed at leakages or to control industrial houses that may previously have had easy entry to the PMO.

While fixed days and fixed times used to be the norm earlier, in Modi Sarkar such approaches have been dispensed with, and a strict vigil is maintained by the "top-man", go murmurs in the PMO.
