Jitu Rai wins gold in 50 metre Pistol event

Jitu Rai has won the gold in the Men's Individual 50 metre Pistol event. Jitu Rai has entered six finals since June 2014 and won either gold or silver in each of them. He kept his calm and defeated Vietnam's Nguyen to win the gold.

Earlier in the day, Shweta Chaudhary shot the first medal for India in the 2014 Asian Games after she won the bronze in the women's 10m air pistol at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range.
