BJP-Shiv Sena stalemate continues
September 20, 2014  12:51
Sources report that the stalemate between the Shiv Sena and its ally, the Bharatiya Janata Party, continues as the BJP is yet to receive a proposal from the Sena. Hoping to end the deadlock over seat-sharing, the BJP had proposed to settle for 125-130 of the state's 288 seats, less than its original demand of 135.
However, they are yet to receive any news from Sena leaders, sources within the party said. BJP leaders had met earlier in the day to discuss the issue. They said they would be meeting again tomorrow hoping to find a solution to the issue.
