Subramanian Swamy suggests President's rule in J&K
September 14, 2014  15:14
Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday suggested that President's rule should be imposed in the state for a year. Swamy said that for one year Jammu and Kashmir should be under President's rule and the elections should be held later.

However, Swamy soon faced flak for endorsing President's rule in the state.
Gaurav Bhatia from the Samajwadi Party said, "His statement is ill-timed. Priority should be to maintain normalcy in J&K."

Bhim Singh of the National Panthers party said, "What Subramanian Swamy stinks of old BJP power games. BJP has mission 44; here their mission should be to save J&K people."
