Punjabi Taliban to bid farewell to arms in Pakistan

The Punjabi Taliban terrorist group announced that it was giving up its armed struggle in Pakistan, and would now pursue the implementation of Sharia in the country through peaceful means. In a newly released video message and a written statement, Punjabi Taliban chief Ismatullah Muawiya said that the outfit was ending its armed struggle within the country, limiting its use of force to "infidel forces". Muawiya said they are abandoning the armed struggle to start preaching and do welfare work in the country, especially in the flood-hit areas.
