Coal blocks: SC reserves verdict

The Supreme Court reserves its order on the cancellation of coal blocks it had termed illegal. No date has been set as yet on the verdict. The centre today had told the SC that all 218 coal blocks should be cancelled. The Centre had also suggested that Coal India can takeover the coal blocks. While the date of the verdict is undecided the hearing on the coal block allocation ended today.
