Vietnamese PM arrives on 2-day visit to Delhi, Gaya

Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung arrives in New Delhi. Dung, is scheduled to hold delegation-level talks with his Indian counterpart, to increase economic engagement s between the two countries. He will visit Gaya, where he will visit the Bodhgaya temple and the Vietnam Buddhism Pagoda in Bihar and meet state Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

He will also hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will also call on the Vietnamese Prime Minister. This is the Vietnamese Prime Minister's third visit to India.
