Use of 'Make in India' logo prohibited without permission

The government today "strictly prohibited" use of the 'Make in India' logo without its prior permission.

"Use of the Make in India logo is strictly prohibited without permission of DIPP (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion," the department said.

On September 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 'Make in India' campaign and its logo. Silhouette of a lion on the move, made of cogs, symbolising manufacturing and strength is the logo of 'Make in India'.

Launching his government's ambitious project to make India a manufacturing hub, Modi had promised effective and easy governance to help achieve high growth and creation of jobs.
