BJP mocks Congress on Tharoor row: Soon, it will only be Sonia and Rahul

A day after Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was sacked as the spokesman of the party, the Bharatiya Janata Party has derided the Grand Old Party for its unusual show of intolerance. "If this goes on, soon only Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be left in the Congress," BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi remarked.

The Congress dropped Tharoor as a spokesperson on Monday after complaints that he had humiliated the party with his "constant and unnecessary adulation" of Narendra Modi.
