A day after five villagers were killed and 34 injured in heavy mortar
shelling and firing from across the international border and Line of
Control, Pakistani Rangers kept the onslaught going by targeting 40
border outposts and 25 villages in four sub-sectors of Jammu district.

Security Force troops gave a befitting reply to four ceasefire
violations by Pakistan resulting in exchanges, which are still on in
some areas.
"Pakistani Rangers again resorted to unprovoked mortar shelling and
heavy firing on BSF posts along the International Border since 2100
hours on Monday night", BSF Spokesman Vinood Yadav said.
