Jaya refused bail

The Karnataka High Court has refused bail to Jayalalithaa. The court says there is no grounds for granting her bail. The former Tamil Nadu CM was convicted in the disproportionate assets case and sentenced by a Special Court in Karnataka to four years imprisonment on September 27.

Jayalalithaa is presently in a prison at Bangalore.
