Bihar minister targeted by angry crowd, car set on fire

An angry crowd attacked a Bihar minister and set his car on fire. He was not in the vehicle at the time of the assault on Monday evening. However, he was injured after being assaulted with stones.

Vinay Bihari, 48, is a cabinet minister. He inaugurated a concert in a small town 150 kilometres from Patna. The musical event was part of celebrations for the Navratri religious festival and was headlined by a hugely popular folk singer, Pawan Singh.
