PM Modi addresses SAARC summit

Addressing leaders at the SAARC summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "This is my first visit to SAARC summit but my second to Nepal. Speaking in English, he said, "The future I dream for India is the future I wish for our entire region." He added that ours is a region of thriving democracy and we all face the same challenges. Emphasising the importance of SAARC, he said, "Where does South Asia wish to stand in the world, we need to ask this question to ourselves." He said, "There is much to learn from each and more to do together.'   "India and Nepal has begun a new era of cooperation in energy sector,' the PM added and also spoke of his arrangements with Sri Lanka and Maldives.
