Nationwide security review of all airports after SpiceJet-buffalo crash

The Civil Aviation Ministry has ordered an investigation and a perimeter security review of all airports in the country after a SpiceJet flight with 140 passengers hit a buffalo that had strayed on to the runway because of a breach in the airport's external fencing.

The incident which happened at the Surat airport caused severe damage to the engine of the Boeing 737 and the buffalo was killed.
