Seven-storey building collapses in Mumbai; many feared trapped

Update on the building collapse in Mumbai:

A seven-storey residential building collapsed in suburban Santacruz today, with many persons feared trapped. The building, located in Yashwant Nagar near Grand Hyatt Hotel, came down around noon following which firemen rushed to the spot.

According to an official in the BMC Disaster Cell, there have been no reports of any casualties so far and rescue operations are underway at the site. However, several residents are feared trapped under the debris.
