PMs family may witness LS oath-taking

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother and the rest of the family were not present at his swearing-in ceremony last Monday, but amends will be made this week, it is learnt.

At 11 am on June 4, when Kamal Nath as Protem Speaker of the Lok Sabha swears in the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as member of Parliament, his mother and other family members are likely to be witnessing the event from the Speaker's Chamber.

Apart from them, many Rajya Sabha MPs and Gujarat legislators, including Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, are expected to be present in the Distinguished Persons Gallery of the Lok Sabha.
