Dense fog affects rail-air traffic in Delhi

Air and rail traffic is severely affected in Delhi as a massive blanket of fog has settled in. While 78 trains are running late due to low visibility, 20 others have been rescheduled. Rajdhani trains originating from Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Sealdah and Dibrugarh are among the ones running late.

The cold wave conditions have also resulted in 28 flights being affected to low visibility at the Delhi airport. While the runway visibility was between 150 and 200 metre, the general visibility was below 50 metre.
