Pak army chief signs death warrants of 6 terrorists

Dawn.com reports: Pakistan army chief General Raheel Sharif has signed the death warrant of six terrorists, pending execution, by a Field General Court Martial

The six terrorists were convicted by a field general court martial in accordance with the law. Sources said that the men are expected to be executed within the next 48 hours.

The decision comes after the government ended a moratorium on capital punishment in terror-related cases in wake of the terror attack on an army-run school in Peshawar that claimed 148 lives, mostly children.
