NIA chargesheets SIMI activist Haider Ali in Bodhgaya serial blasts case. Terrorists shattered the peace of the world-renowned Mahabodhi temple and surrounding pilgrim spots in Bodhgaya in July 2013 setting off nine blasts in 30 minutes despite numerous intelligence alerts of such an attack.

Haider Ali, Mujibullah and Taufique Ansari are the the key accused in the case. Ali and his associate Umer Siddiqui, who were SlMI incharge of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh respectively, conspired with other co-conspirators to target the Buddhist site to avenge the alleged atrocities on Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

NIA had earlier filed a chargesheet against Umer Siddiqui, Azharuddin Qureshi and Imtiyaz Ansari.
