Lok Sabha passes bill to regulate E-rickshaws

The Lok Sabha today passed with a voice vote the Motor Vehicles (amendment) Bill, 2014, to regulate E-rickshaws which provide affordable last mile connectivity to millions of commuters including women and senior citizen and also give employment to youth from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward classes and minority communities.
