Shoma 6th journalist to quit Tehelka

Shoma Chaudhury is the sixth journalist to have resigned from Tehelka in the past few days after the sexual assault allegations against Tejpal surfaced.

Chaudhury's resignation comes a day after sources indicated that she could also be booked for attempting to suppress the complaint. On Wednesday, Shoma vehemently denied allegations that that she tried character assassination of the complainant. She said, "I reject the allegations in the media that I am involved in any manner with any slander intimidation or character assassination of the complainant journalist. This is a malicious campaign that has no basis in truth."
