So, will Tarun Tejpal will be arrested? The Goa police say they have not accepted Tejpal's plea for more time to depose. The police says it's a serious problem and can't give Tejpal more time. DIG Goa, OP Mishra, says the 3 pm deadline for Tejpal to present himself has expired and the police had taken into account the time it would take for Tejpal to come to Goa from Delhi. "We will proceed as per law on the case. We will not give him any extension," said Mishra. "The next logical step will be taken," said Mishra. He however refused to state whether Tejpal would be arrested.
