Firoz Fatma becomes first woman 'crorepati' of KBC-7

The seventh season of the hit TV quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' got its first female crorepati in the young Firoz Fatma from Uttar Pradesh.

Hailing from Saharanpur in UP, the 22-year-old became the first woman to have won Rs 1 crore in this season of the game show hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

A BSc graduate, Firoz never wanted her sister to stop studies due to financial problems. So she sacrificed her further education to let her continue.

Firoz's sole aim to participate in the game show was to win a handsome sum to pay off her deceased father's loan. She gathered all the knowledge only by reading newspapers and watching news channels.
