Afghan peace negotiators extend stay in Pakistan for talks with Mullah Baradar

Afghan government-backed peace negotiators have extended their stay in Islamabad for a meeting with senior Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.

The visit comes after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had accepted a proposal by Afghan President Hamid Karzai at the trilateral summit hosted by British Prime Minister David Cameron in London last month to allow members of the High Peace Council to meet Baradar.  Read more
