PM announces Rs 710 cr for expansion on JK roads

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has announced Rs 710 crore for expansion and upgradation of rural roads in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi arrived in Srinagar earlier in the day on a two-day visit to the state. They also met the jawans injured in Monday's militant strike in Hyderpora.
