To stay in NDA or not to? JD-U to decide on Sunday

Janata Dal - United President Sharad Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met in Patna tonight.

A meeting of party MPs, legislators and other office-bearers has been called for noon on Sunday. The party's decision about maintaining its ties with the BJP and staying on in the NDA will be announced at 3 pm.

Emerging from the meeting with Kumar, Yadav told reporters that the meeting has been called at the CM's residence on Sunday at 12.30 pm to discuss the political decision.

"The decision of the party would be made public at a press conference at 3 pm," he said.

Yadav said he had held talks with many ministers and other office-bearers of the party tonight after talking with the CM.

Yadav met Kumar immediately on his arrival from New Delhi today evening.
