Telangana MPs, MLAs give Congress August 15 ultimatum

Sources tell our correspondent from New Delhi that Telangana Congress MPs, MLAs told Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday that if a formal announcement on Telangana is not made on August 15 from the Red Fort by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh the entire Telangana region will come to a stop. There will be a strike and buses and trains will not ply. No traffic will move into Hyderabad. By early September the people of Telangana will march towards Hyderabad. "Let the police fire on us, let there be curfew in entire Telangana," they told Rahul.
