'War room' for battle of ballots in Karnataka
April 15, 2013  10:12
The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has set up a 'war room' -- a hub for chalking out poll strategies -- on the lines of the one the All India Congress has in New Delhi.

Located on No 5, Ali Asker Road in Bengaluru, the KPCC 'war room' will have professionals from the fields of image building, opinion formation and public relations.

These professionals are supported by the staff from the AICC 'war room' who have come here specifically for this purpose of shaping and managing party's image ahead of the May 5 polls.

The party has hired the services of a public relation firm, Perfect Relations, for the purpose.

No 5 Ali Asker Road is a residential bungalow, which has been converted into a make-shift back-office.

It has a meeting hall, a media-watch room and a data centre. The 'war room' has been set up on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi's directions.
