Worried family members of slain Satyavathi Venna, who was found dead in her son's house in the United States, today demanded that authorities there make more efforts to trace the elderly woman's grand-daughter, who has been abducted.

"The only information we have is that my aunt (Satyavathi) has died and the baby Venna Sravani is missing. Our only concern now is the safety of the baby. We want Sravani to be traced at the earliest and request the US government to put in maximum effort in this regard," said Satyavathi's son-in-law Srinivasa Reddy and other relatives.
