UK envoy: Talks with Modi good, want trade ties

Britain's top diplomat in India -- James Bevan -- held talks with Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, ending a 10-year boycott after the Godhra riots of 2002. Bevan said the talks were open and positive and they discussed human rights and development in Gujarat and UK wanted more ties in science and technology with Gujarat. On a more sombre note, Bevan also said that the UK wanted justice for the riots victims.
