Two weeks ago, robbers held up an ATM cash van in South Delhi, shot a guard accompanying the money, and made off with the equivalent of a million dollars.The crime was unusually daring for Delhi, in that it took place in a well-off area full of security guards in broad daylight, leading some city residents to wonder whether the city was seeing the start of a new wave of more violent crime.
