Court orders further probe into 2008 cash-for-vote scam

A Delhi court today ordered further probe into the 2008 cash-for-vote scam to "unearth the hidden truth" in the case in which Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh is also an accused.

Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal directed police to trace the source of money and conduct the probe from all possible angles and file an additional charge sheet in the case within six weeks. The order of the court came on the plea of BJP MP and accused Faggan Singh Kulaste for a probe into the matter to find out the "real beneficiaries".
