Ex-rail mantri: NO accountability in rail ministry

Former railway minister Dinesh Trivedi tells CNN IBN that politics is ruining the railways. In the aftermath of the train disaster in Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Trivedi said the PM should keep politics out of the railways and decide how funds can be generated. He said there was no accountability in the rail ministry. Trivedi, a Trinamool MP, was forced to resign as rail minster for announcing a nominal hike in passenger fares during the rail budget.
