The CBI has filed a charge sheet  in the alleged siphoning of funds in the CWG event -- the Queen's Baton Relay -- against former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee officials and a London based businessman. The QBR charge sheet has been filed against Ashish Patel, owner of firms -- AM Films and AM Car and Van Hire and three former officials of the Organising Committee of Commonwealth Games. They are T S Darbari, Sanjay Mahendroo and M Jaychandran.

The charge sheet accuses them of forgery and cheating in connection with the award of contracts to Patel's firms at exorbitant rates during the event held in London in 2009. All are out on bail as CBI could not file a charge sheet within stipulated time.
