Modi's coronation in Madurai in September

A massive reception has been planned in Madurai for Gujarat Chief Narendra Modi in the first week of September. The function is for Modi's "dedicated services for the upliftment of people from Saurashta" living in Tamil Nadu.
Modi will spend half a day in Madurai and insiders say he will be crowned with huge number of priests chanting Vedic hymns declaring him the protector of Hinduism. Modi office has tentatively indicated September 4 however there will be a confirmation in mid August.
