August 01, 2012  23:44
The police have started questioning the injured man, who was taken into custody after four low-intensity blasts rocked Pune tonight, reports rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa.

Police said the injured has been identified as Dayanand Patil. A tailor by profession, Patil was working in store on Pune's JM Road, where the blasts occurred.

Eyewitnesses have claimed that he was allegedly carrying one of the bombs in a packet.

Patil has suffered injuries in his stomach and his questioning has already begun. It would not be right to jump the gun at the moment; it is very early to pinpoint whether he was involved in the blast, said police sources.
