Lokayukta summons Yeddy and family

A Lokayukta court has issued summons to former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and nine others on a private complaint against him in connection with alleged irregularities in land denotification.

Lokayukta special court judge N K Sudhindhra Rao issued summons to Yeddyurappa, his sons B Y Raghavendra (MP) and B Y Vijayendra, son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar, Hemachandra Sagar (MLA), former housing minister S N Krishnaiah Setty and four others.

All of them have been asked to appear before the court on August 29.
