One is a budding cricketer and the other is a wannabe actor, but politics is what they have in common. Tejaswi Yadav, a cricketer, is better known as the son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. Chirag Paswan, who is looking for a break in Bollywood, is the son of Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan.

Tejaswi and Chirag are both in their early 20s and have been actively campaigning for their illustrious fathers.

The RJD and the LJP have joined hands to fight the ruling Bharatiya Janata Dal and Janata Dal United combine in the forthcoming state assembly elections.
Cricketer Tejaswi is trying to woo voters by promising development. "My father's magic made the railways achieve a turn-around. He will change the face of Bihar after coming to power,'' Tejaswi has been telling voters.

Tejaswi has also been careful while speaking about his father's arch rival Nitish Kumar, calling him Nitish chacha respectfully.

Tejaswi told that he was upbeat and happy with the response of the people. "It is amazing to work for people. I am really enjoying campaigning for the RJD," he said.

In the last one week, Tejaswi has campaigned for his mother and former chief minister Rabri Devi, who is contesting from the assembly constituencies of Raghopur and Sonepur.

Tejaswi, along with Rabri Devi, conducted road shows in Raghopur and visited Dalit settlements to woo the voters.

"Tejaswi has become popular in a short time in Raghopur," claimed RJD leader Ravinder Kumar.

Tejaswi is also trying to reach out to the youth during the campaign. Not surprisingly, Lalu has already announced that his young son is honing his political skills and will soon contest the polls.

Chirag Paswan, who is trying his luck in Bollywood, has been campaigning along with his father Ram Vilas Paswan.

LJP leader Lalan Kumar told that Chirag will conduct road shows soon to seek votes for his party.

Chirag has earlier campaigned for his father in Hajipur during the Lok Sabha polls last year. But Paswan had been beaten by JD-U's Ram Sunder Das last year.
