On August 9, a report by Sharat Pradhan headlined Sponsor's demands curtail hockey camp was published in rediff.com
In response, K Jothikumaran, General Secretary, Indian Hockey Federation, and Abhijit Sarkar, Corporate Communications Manager, Sahara India Group, have written in, denying the report and calling it baseless and untrue. Sarkar denied speaking to anyone representating rediff.com on the subject of the camp.
