In Aakar's own words, it tells the story of a woman who comes into power accidentally. She is faced with a choice -- her dilemma is whether to use her authority to bring about the change she has worked for all her life or to stand by the principles she has held on to. The book is about how she resolves these contradictions in the end. The book is aimed at those who want to understand modern India, how government and politics, work and it's just a good fun light read for those who are looking to read some fiction.

Aakar Patel is also the author of The Anarchist Cookbook, Price of the Modi Years and Our Hindu Rashtra.
