Banners come up congratulating Sidda, Shivakumar

Heavy security deployed outside the residence of senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah who has been named as the next Karnataka chief minister.

His supporters put up banners outside his residence celebrating the upcoming announcement, which is expected to made after a Congress Legislature Party meeting in Bengaluru in the evening.

Banners have also been put up outside the residence of Karnataka Congress president D K Shivakumar who has been named as the next deputy CM.

Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar will be sworn-in on May 20. -- ANI
