Adani, Ambani, Apple to invest in poll-bound K'taka

Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly polls jobs and investment for the state. 
Apple phones would be built in a new 300-acre factory in Karnataka creating about one lakh jobs, according to Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Apple phones to be built in a new 300-acre factory in Karnataka, tweeted Chandrasekhar. Bommai said: "Apple phones to be built in the state soon. Apart from creating about 100,000 jobs, it will create a whole lot of opportunities for Karnataka". 

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Friday said his group will be investing in Andhra Pradesh to set up a 10 gigawatt renewable solar energy project. 

The Adani group will set up two new cement manufacturing plants, 15,000 MW of renewable power projects and a data centre in Andhra Pradesh as it looks to double down on its presence in the state. 

The Karnataka Assembly polls are due sometime before May 2023.
