SC to hear Manish Sisodia's bail plea on July 14

Excise policy scam: The Supreme Court agrees to hear the bail plea of AAP leader Manish Sisodia on July 14.

The former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, who is currently in jail for his alleged role in the now-scrapped excise policy case, had approached the Supreme Court seeking bail last week.

Sisodia, who has been booked in cases registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation as well as the Enforcement Directorate was denied bail by the Delhi High Court in the ED case on July 3.
