Commando Mudasir Ahmed Sheikh

Commando Mudasir Ahmed Sheikh, known as Bindaas to Indian Army officers and colleagues in the J&K police, has been conferred a Shaurya Chakra, posthumously.

Sheikh was killed in action in May last year during an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Three terrorists had killed in the encounter with the forces.
