Rahul Gandhi's white T-shirts at the Bharat Jodo Yatra continues to make headlines.
While the Congress and his sister has held forth on why Rahul has not worn any winter wear amid the severe cold in Delhi and north India, Rahul himself has been silent on the issue.
Priyanka Gandhi had said that Rahul does not feel cold as he is wearing the shield of truth.
Today, the Congress leader who is spearheading the Yatra said, "I walk in the yatra wearing T-shirts. Many children of poor farmers and labourers walk with me in the yatra wearing torn clothes. But the media doesn't ask why children of poor farmers and labourers are walking without a sweater/jacket during the winter season.
"Questions on my T-shirt is not the real issue but the children, farmers and labourers of India, walking around without warm clothes during winter is the real issue."
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Wednesday alleged that Rahul Gandhi is roaming around in a foreign-made T-shirt during the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra across the country.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began from Tamil Nadus Kanyakumari on September 7, has covered around 3,200 km so far. The Congress claims that Rahul is on course to achieve what no Indian politician has achieved on foot in the history of the country.
Rahul had answered a question on his T-shirts earlier when asked how long will he wear them saying, Jab tak chal rahi hai chala lenge.
On another occasion, he suggested that he will come up with a video on how to tackle winter in a T-shirt once the Bharat Jodo Yatra concludes.
