Police job aspirant dies at Mumbai hotel

A 24-year-old aspirant for a police constable's job died at a hotel in Mumbai due to suspected heart attack, an official said on Wednesday.
Amar Ashok Solanke, resident of Maharashtra's Amaravati district, had come to Mumbai for a police recruitment test, the police official said.
He returned to his hotel in Fort area after his ground tests on Tuesday.
After taking a bath, he suddenly collapsed.
He was rushed to a state-run hospital but was declared dead before admission, the official added.
Preliminary reports indicated that Solanke died due to a heart attack, he said.
An accidental death report was registered at Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg police station. -- PTI
