Pawan Khera to be released on bail: SC

The Supreme Court hearing the bail petition of Pawan Khera says in order to protect the petitioner, and until he applies for regular bail, before the jurisdictional court, the apex court has ordered he be released on bail.

The petitioner shall be released on bail by the Delhi court this evening, the SC said.

The Supreme Court also issues a notice to Assam Police and UP Police on Congress leader Pawan Khera's plea seeking clubbing of FIRs. The SC says, "till the next date of hearing, the petitioner will be released on interim bail by the Dwarka court." SC directs Dwarka court to grant interim relief to Khera.
