BJP MP, poet and author Varun Gandhi's new book is out.

"My new book, The Indian Metropolis, written over 3 tumultuous years, seeks to highlight the challenges of urban India & to spark a conversation on humanising our cities, in a push for an inclusive, hopeful future.

May this effort strengthen the pathway to the India of our dreams," Gandhi tweeted.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, also an author of over a dozen books, congratulated Gandhi writing, "Well done @varungandhi80. Seems a monumental tome & it's clear a considerable amount of research & reflection has gone into it. All the best!"

Varun Gandhi is the BJP MP from the Pilibhit constituency of UP.
