The Supreme Court started hearing a petition demanding restraining lawyer Lekshmana Chandra Victoria Gowri from taking oath as a judge of the Madras High Court, just minutes before her scheduled swearing-in. The oath-taking ceremony started even as the court proceedings were underway.
