30 Cong leaders propose Kharge's name for party chief

Total 30 Congress leaders have proposed Mallikarjun Kharge's name for the election of the president of the Congress.

Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday said all senior leaders had decided to back veteran Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge's candidature for the party chief's election.

Former Union minister Shashi Tharoor will be Kharge's challenger.
